Three things young people should never do, no matter how eager they are!
I’ve worked at a large company for 10 years and been a small business owner for over 10 years. I’ve experienced a lot and worked with many people. Here are a few red lines employees should avoid crossing. For recent graduates, it’s important to approach work with a sense of reverence.
First, embezzlement. As an employee, if you pocket company funds or assets, once the amount exceeds a few thousand dollars, you’ll be in trouble. If the legal department of a large company is particularly strict, it could severely impact your career and even your life trajectory.
Second is bribery by non-public officials. When I was working, I would see announcements every week, or even every day, about who was under investigation. Those at higher levels were even product line presidents. Such cases typically result in several years of imprisonment.
Third is various forms of forgery, especially involving company seals and signatures. Once discovered, this can easily lead to legal consequences. Some young employees may view this as a minor issue, but in reality, it is quite serious.
The larger the company, the more they emphasize this and the stricter they are. Don't let small matters lead to bigger problems. In smaller companies, it depends on how strict the boss is; if the boss is strict, they will handle it without mercy.
